Old Homies & New Homies! We are BACKKKKK
After taking some time off, I am stoked to reconnect with you and bring back sharing helpful tips and tactics that you can utilize across your brand or business, drawing from my extensive marketing and customer experience background.
Since last writing this newsie, I have embarked on an exciting new-ish chapter in my career. I have since left Feastables as the VP of Customer Experience. WOW, what an incredible (and insane) journey that was! Taking a brand from a mere product idea to launching online, expanding to retail, and eventually going international while simultaneously handling the world’s largest YouTuber’s community was nothing short of exhilarating.
But in December, I decided it was time to forge my own path, and thus, Open Late Collective was born. Though I had been working fractionally as either a marketing leader or CX leader across several brands already, it was time to expand and formalize this venture with my girl gang. Open Late Collective helps brands with Brand Strategy, Consumer Insights, Marketing Strategies, and Customer Experience. While our scope seems broad to the outside, we pride ourselves on helping brands understand the WHY (brand positioning, messaging, who your consumers are) and to deliver the HOW (marketing strategies, VoC and brand experience).
Enough about the workies though and back to the WHY of this newsie. This newsletter is a reflection of my real learnings from working with our clients, or from my former life as an FTE at Feastables and other B2B SaaS startups. Over the years, I have worn many hats, spanning from art school graduate to product marketing for b2b start ups to digital marketing & customer experience in e-commerce. My entire ethos on marketing is grounded in a deep understanding of the consumer and the WHY behind their purchasing decisions.
So, strap in because every week, we will dive into topics like brand marketing, retention and lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, and customer psychology. DEEP THOUGHTS and practical strategies that YOU can tactically apply for your own brand’s success.
For now, let’s keep the reintroduction short and sweet. Consider this a little amuse-bouche of what’s to come. We’ll catch up again next Sunday, same time and place, k?
